C16 vs K11: Which Cloakla LED Mask Is Right For You?
Both the Cloakla C16 and the Cloakla K11 are FDA-cleared LED light therapy face masks with medical-grade irradiance, wireless operation, and a 10-minute auto-timer. The difference comes down to wavelength count, treatment area, and how aggressive a routine you want.
The 30-second answer
- Pick the C16 if you want a daily glow ritual, ultra-light packable mask, and a face-only treatment. Best for maintenance.
- Pick the K11 (Face) if you want the full 7-wavelength clinical spectrum to address acne + pigmentation + aging at once.
- Pick the K11 Face + Neck if you also want to treat the neck, jaw, and décolletage — the most-aged, least-treated zone.

Real use cases
You're 25, fighting hormonal acne
K11 (Face). The 415 nm blue clears P. acnes bacteria; the red + amber calm post-acne marks. The C16 doesn't have blue light.
You're 35, want to slow fine lines
Either works — the C16 is enough for collagen + maintenance. Pick K11 only if you also want to treat your neck.
You're 45+, want to lift jawline + neck
K11 Face + Neck. The neck enhancer panel delivers the same 7 wavelengths to décolletage at clinical irradiance. No other Cloakla model has this.
You travel weekly
C16. Lighter (~220 g vs 280–400 g), more compact for carry-on.
You have rosacea or melasma
K11. The 520 nm green calms redness and broken capillaries; 590 nm amber fades melasma patches. Both are missing on the C16.
Glow path: how to combine them
Many Cloakla users own both. Common pattern:
- C16 for daily morning glow (lighter, faster to grab)
- K11 Face + Neck 2–3 nights/week for intensive treatment

Frequently asked questions
Is the K11 worth the price difference?
If you only need maintenance, no — the C16 does that well. If you have specific concerns (acne, pigmentation, redness) or want neck coverage, yes — the extra wavelengths and panel deliver clinically different outcomes.
Can I use both on the same day?
Technically yes, but it's overkill. LED has diminishing returns past one session per day. Pick one per session, alternate days if you own both.
What's the difference between K11 Face and K11 Face + Neck?
Same face mask. The Face + Neck variant adds a dedicated neck enhancer panel that clips on or wears independently. See K11 Face + Neck details →
Will the C16 ever get blue light?
The current C16 ships with 6 wavelengths (no blue, no green). If acne is a primary concern, choose the K11.
Do both work with the same skincare?
Yes. Both use LED to clean, bare skin. Apply serums and SPF after.
